Griddled Sweet Cucumber Salad Smash Burgers
INGREDIENTS
- 30 slices of Old World Foods Sweet Cucumber Salad
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 medium Roma tomatoes
- 6 Hawaiian slider rolls
- 1 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- Top with condiments if desired
DIRECTIONS
1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, black pepper, and garlic salt. Divide into six equal portions, then roll into balls.
2. Pat Old World Foods Sweet Cucumber Salad dry with paper towel. Slice Roma tomatoes.
3. Heat a griddle to medium heat and add half a tablespoon of butter. Once melted, grill tomato slices 1-2 minutes on each side, then set aside.
4. Add olive oil to the same part of the griddle where the tomatoes were cooked. Place the Hawaiian rolls cut-side face down and grill until lightly browned. Then, set aside.
5. Add a tablespoon of butter to the griddle. Spread it over the surface and place half of the Old World Foods Sweet Cucumber Salad slices on one side to grill individually. Arrange the other half in groups of two or three, approximately the size of the burger patties.
6. Place the burger patties on top of the griddled Old World Foods Sweet Cucumber Salad and smash them flat. Cook for about a few minutes until browned, then flip and cook the other side until browned and cooked to your liking.
7. Assemble the smash burgers with Hawaiian rolls, griddled tomatoes, griddled Old World Foods Sweet Cucumber Salad, your favorite condiments, and extra griddled Old World Foods Sweet Cucumber Salad on top. Enjoy!
